SkinPalette

Curated by eye · priced by budget

A great loadout is a palette, not a price tag.

Most skin sites sort by price and call it taste. We curate the other way around: by eye first — colorway, finish, how it reads in your hands — then by honest budget bands checked against live listings.

How we curate

Every gallery starts from renders, not price feeds: does the finish hold up large on your screen, does the colorway build into a loadout, does it still look good in a year? Then, and only then, we band it by budget — under $5, under $20, and up — with the date we checked printed on the page, because undated skin prices are fiction.

Featured skins link to established marketplaces through disclosed /go/ links. We may cover case-opening and gambling sites, but we never link to scams: this is a gallery, not a slot machine.

Frequently asked questions

What are the best cheap CS2 skins?

The honest answer changes with the market, which is why every gallery on this site prints the date its prices were checked. The budget picks page keeps a running selection under $20 where the look holds up long after the price is forgotten.

Do skins change gameplay?

No — skins are purely cosmetic. That is the point of curating them by eye: the only thing a skin ever does is look a certain way in your hands, so the look is the entire product.

What do the rarity colors mean?

Valve grades skins from Consumer (white) up through Covert (red), with gold for knives and gloves. Rarity drives supply and price, not beauty — some of the best-looking skins in the game sit in the blue and purple tiers, which is where our galleries spend most of their time.

Why do your prices say 'checked on a date'?

Because skin prices move daily and any page that quotes a price without a date is quietly lying to you. We print when we looked, link where to check live, and re-check galleries on a schedule.

Where should I actually buy the skins you feature?

Every featured skin links to established marketplaces through our /go/ links — some earn us a commission, all are disclosed, and we never link to scams.
